⚡️ France fined Google $380M for privacy violations 🇫🇷 The regulator CNIL accused the company of two things: • Lack of transparency — it's nearly impossible for users to understand what data is being collected and why. To get to the bottom of it, one had to click through 5-6 pages. • Lack of consent — Google used pre-checked boxes and a "general" consent form. Under GDPR, this is a violation: consent must be explicit and for each individual type of data. Outcome: the largest fine in Europe against a tech giant. Paris sent a signal — GDPR rules apply to everyone, even Google. Question: do you think this is the beginning of a new wave of fines for Big Tech? @Крипто Тренды и Технологии $BNB #Google #Privacy #GDPR #France View More
