Today, we’re learning about the toxic methylmercury in fish that we eat! It’s important to not eat too much, especially if you’re pregnant, to prevent cognitive defects and immune systems issues. It occurs with processes called biomagnification and bioaccumulation absorbing the toxin into fatty tissues. Thanks!!

🤩🤩🤩 You did it Newt, easy to understand and captivating. Can eating too much of tuna sashimi, contribute to this menace of condition. Fun fact is Methylmercury is very oxidative and can cause irreparable damage to the human body.

Well normally our body tries to rid itself of reactive species like this oxidative agents, because they can predispose us to a lot of ailments even cancers. This oxidative species join free minerals in our bodies and can form toxic compounds within the body, just as you have explained and this becomes a problem.
