#ICP is a different blockchain, with ability to do anything.
Canisters (that's how smart-contracts on ICP called) can do:
- http calls
- calls to other chains
- any backend calculations
- even frontend
- even AI?
But the truly power of ICP - you can use it as modular system. Integrate it with existing smart-contracts on #Base or on any other chain.
This way it will be like backend. Like AWS Lambda, or Gelato web3 functions.
And then you can easily extend it more, if you need.
