I'm proud of my son.
His tenacity, determination, hard work—that inner fire that's beyond his years.
He's been playing football since he was three and a half years old and is currently playing for three different teams: the 2019, 2018, and 2017 teams.
And today, for the first time, I won the Man of the Match award in a game for 2017—the boys there are at least two years older.
But he went out there and did his job.
And now we're going to watch the Russia-Chile national team.
And I'm seizing the moment: I was once a person who didn't like or understand football. And now I'm an ardent fan of a small, but already very big player.
