TLDR: Popfi partnered with @inflynce and did an airdrop that included Inflynce users. But when claiming it, a massive amount of IP was burned... in my case, almost all my points. Then Popfi turned out to be a scam/rug.
Needless to say, this situation feels bad, and like many others, I’m a bit disappointed.
So, @alitiknazoglu, here are my thoughts on how the situation could be improved or fixed:
- Be more selective with future partners, and do extra due diligence
- Restore all burned IP to users in full
- Clearly indicate in the miniapp that IP will be burned, I didn’t see your post and had no idea mine would be gone after claiming
- Going forward, users should be able to choose whether they want to claim an airdrop and burn their IP or not
- For future claims, the exact amount of IP that will be burned should be clearly shown so users can decide whether it’s worth it for them
