Makes me glad the system isn’t automated. Real grown ups are all over that process.

Is anyone concerned that the man who controls the largest nuclear arsenal is panicking because the world is slowly figuring out he is a pedophile?

I take a Vit D supplement once a week. I find it suspicious that the doctors office sells the very supplements that they recommend… I’m less skeptical of vitamin D than the other recommended supplements. Then I see posters in the office offering like, skin treatments and ozempic and I’m like, is this all a damn racket? 😆

I’m always vitamin D deficient because I take medicines for nerve damage that make me UV sensitive. I think Vitamin D is legit. But I suspect that Methylated B vitamin supplements merely improve biomarkers on tests, rather than improve function of any kind.

I strongly suspect that my doctor orders bloodwork for the explicit purpose of selling supplements based on the results.

Would it be ok for an engineer to put people in an unsafe rocket because of demand to go to the moon? There’s consent which ties into demand. I see that. But in the end it comes down to professional ethics. If unsafe stuff is allowed, people could lose faith in the entire industry (which seems to have already happened for both medicine and aerospace so maybe it’s moot by now)… Ok I made myself sad.

Apparently someone made a whole house (mostly) out of bread for some reason.

But… the doctor is a member of a profession with ethical obligations. Demand doesn’t change that. The ethical mad-scientist-doctor would experiment on him/her self, as is longstanding tradition.

So they watched “dr death” season 2 and said “let’s do the next sequel in Florida.”

Despite Randy and Cartman sounding like a different voice actor, and tinny, respectively… Balzy as fuck episode, bravo!

How so? In the case of industry, for instance, farm equipment is dangerous, but no food is more dangerous than that. So the logical thing isn’t to avoid agriculture, but to make machines safer to use. Socializing is dangerous, but social isolation is as well. Locking people down indefinitely would lower life expectancy over time. Pursuing policies that lengthen life expectancy can be done without infringing on freedoms, defined as personal lifestyle choices.
