I’d say avg 2x/year in crypto is a fair take. I took meaningful as 4 fig, or higher, airdrops. Here’s the ones I remember getting: 1) ENS 2) Degen 3) Higher 4) Henlo/kart 5) Pengu 6) Wormhole Being onchain is passive income.

Having never run an airdrop/tge I really wonder if any team does research into their ideal community and user base before deciding the scope and type of distribution they’ll do. Using the wrong data points to build your community makes airdrops expensive and dead on arrival. Doing it right creates 9 figure mcap.

trolling users by comparing any farcaster airdrop to these 3 tokens is wild. i am sure vitalik shamed all ETH ICO sellers. also lots of thriving tokens and apps did airdrops to the communities of holders and users of apps on those chains. silly devs. airdrop users of your apps/protocols. problem solved.

Unfortunately life got in the way of selling the pico top on this airdrop. That makes the fear mongering of sellers being banned from future airdrops even more ridiculous. Dev’s really expected people to give up $600 profit (before taxes) just in case they might qualify for another airdrop or it gets to $100m mcap?

“You’re a developer”. Stop right there, that’s the problem. You’re not a marketer. You’re not business development. You have no idea how to grow your apps user base. Your product should have a killer feature that makes people stay even after the airdrop. That’s a PMF problem an airdrop can’t solve.
