Some terminology from the world of crypto✨
1. Stablecoin
A cryptocurrency designed to have its value pegged (usually 1:1) to a stable asset, such as the US Dollar (e.g., USDT, USDC).
2. Gas Fee
The transaction fee paid to network validators to execute an operation or smart contract on a blockchain (especially Ethereum).
3. Whale
An individual or entity that holds a very large amount of a specific cryptocurrency, often enough to influence its market price.
4. TPS (Transactions Per Second)
A metric used to measure the throughput of a blockchain network—how many transactions it can process every second.
5. Mainnet
The final, fully developed, and public blockchain protocol where actual, verified transactions take place (as opposed to a test network).
