Unpopular opinion The Base community should leave feedback about Base and the ecosystem so improvements can happen And in my opinion, healthy criticism should also have its place @jessepollak please don’t ban me :) For example, I left two pieces of feedback about the Base app

Money is what we all need… or is it? Let me tell you a story. I was an OG in the Canton Network Discord, and we had an OG chat where something had to be posted at a specific time. That “something” was the CC boost. In short, in CC boost you created a wallet, claimed 20 CC, and then pressed the boost button. Basically, you just had to press this button every 30 minutes and you would get 20 CC (which was about $3 at the time). In an ideal scenario, you could earn $144 per day. Overall, I think that during the entire campaign, from day one, you could earn around $500–700 on a single account (considering lags, etc.). Now imagine registering 5 or 10 accounts in the first seconds? … “Well, you’re an idiot, that was easy money,” you might say. And I would agree. But the moral is this: earning money is the final result of our activity. When the activity the actual process is something we don’t enjoy, it becomes very hard to earn money from it. A regular job is a different story, with different conditions, so I won’t compare it with that. Personally, this month I had several chances to earn money relatively easily. But I didn’t take them. And they weren’t that hard… At the same time, when I wrote a thread about liquid staking on Polkadot - Bifrost, I genuinely enjoyed the process. It took me around two hours to write and prepare that thread. I earned $30 for it. So it’s not that simple. Most people I know who earn decently enjoy what they’re doing at least partially. I emphasize: partially. In any activity you can find both pleasant and unpleasant parts.

I analyzed the top creators of the week on Base App based on weekly payouts Base App Creators mostly: > posted content every day > had around 500 to 4k+ followers > focused their content on life, shitposting, and a bit about Base Honestly, I’m glad that being on top doesn’t require an insane number of followers But I have a question: how does the algorithm in Base App work?
