Standing tall at 3,776 meters (12,389 ft), Mount Fuji (富士山, Fujisan) is Japan’s highest mountain and one of the most iconic natural landmarks in the world. This perfectly symmetrical, snow-capped volcano has inspired countless artists, poets, and travelers for centuries.
Located about 100 km southwest of Tokyo, Mount Fuji is part of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013 for its cultural and spiritual significance.
