Hello Farcaster people. Apologies for not posting in a while. A couple of weeks ago I fell for a social engineering scam that started here on farcaster. I was worked on over a loooong time beforehand, they used multiple accounts and other social media, and I got sucked in. I lost A LOT of funds, crypto and also some very beloved arts and nfts. It was painful. And it took a while to secure whatever was remaining including socials and irl finances. I also just didnt want to engage in the crypto space for a bit, something like this really sucks the joy out of it If you are the sort of person who is holding valuables in self-custody please store them securely OFFLINE with the keys OFFLINE too! And take care of yourself too please ❤️ It was a hard blow but thankfully I have lots of healthy practices in my life. And also some very good friends.
