So now when you cast to a channel people only see it if they follow you and the channel?

anyone who follows the channel will still see it in their home feed (don't need to follow you specifically). the "broadcasting" part will change meaning if you want people outside of your channel to see a cast, then just post to home feed.

but the people able to post in the channel will be gated by channel owners admitting new people as "members".
