I was inspired by @rileybeans to get some Vietnamese coffee yesterday. Also incidentally might have found the best Vietnamese food in Dublin.

YouTube surely is stalking me. I had never heard of Mel Robbins before until I saw her book in the airport bookshop yesterday... And then I get shown this: https://youtu.be/-VFa7AVis7E?si=c0F43FPSdZXycYOD Well, it probably says more about us than them that these people are so successful.

yes it is a kind of marketplace, I think artist can make their own mint pages on there, mostly pretty avantgarde/edgy stuff - fun to browse. I also just came across it fairly recently

I started with his Dr Faustus which... i ended up liking a lot, despite initially being a bit confused :'D I found out it's also a sort of him trying to make sense of the rise of national socialism in Germany which forced him into exile. Feels like a timely author to read from, or about. I found a 4 hr documentary about the Mann family as well (unsure whether they ever subbed it) which provided lots of context - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_Manns_%E2%80%93_Ein_Jahrhundertroman

Been eyeing this special for a while, now in the airport waiting for my flight I got it. Maybe it'll inspire me to start the other mammoth work of his on my shelf: magic mountain.

once you get behind the scenes most crypto media looks pretty shit haha - it's ironically those from the outside you'd consider "high quality" by some standard, that tend to be horrible to work with. I'd assume that some decent people fall for it too, since these people tend to be connected to vcs, or invest themselves, and they see it as a path into the network but yeah.. otherwise probably a lot of shit haha

Decided I should call out crypto media overcharging on the other platform (I guess the chances of them seeing it there are higher altho I doubt they care cause they probably print money) That said, before you pay any crypto media 10s or even 100s of thousand dollar, do your due diligence! https://x.com/Naomi_fromhh/status/1925272299432808670
