Shitposting aside. There is no right or wrong answer. Instead, a solution that best suits the subject’s objectives given a certain set of circumstances and opportunities. If you can’t avoid loss or damage and your goal is minimizing negative outcomes, doing nothing is a ridiculous an option as what I proposed.

Beyond the moral/ethical/utilitarian dilemma of the analogy, it makes me think about we make our decisions. If you knew who you were running over would it make a difference? Absolutely. What if you knew you would be punished or rewarded?
