one of the most important lessons i learned over the past couple of years was how important it is to give yourself time to develop your passions -- the things that make you feel truly good as a human being. whether that's art, gardening, translating ancient texts, i don't know what -- it's imperative to keep something for yourself, something that helps you nurture that creative part of your soul. and don't give up on it or let it go.
