Log a Dog Season 3 is fast approaching and I need YOUR help to finalize how Season 3 should work Let's use this thread as the official conversation for coordinating on mechanics for Season 3 --- • Core Idea: Log a Dog is the internet's summer hotdog eating contest • S1/S2 Rule: Whoever uploads the most pics of them eating hotdogs wins • Incentive: S1: $0 (love of the game), S2: +$17k in prizes, S3: ??? • Struggles: Inadequate anti-cheat mechanisms. In S2, judges staked $HOTDOG to confirm/deny submissions w/ majority votes treated as law but nothing could verify if the same dog was used in multiple uploads --- Season 3 Ideas: • @evanmann: max 1 dog a day per contestant. there is a random daily password that must be included in the uploaded photo to prove you ate the dog on that day • @aguzman.eth / @ghostyglitch: use videos instead of photos to prove the number of dogs consumed in an upload --- A call for help: My wife and I are expecting our first baby in the next few weeks. This means it will be difficult for me to devote as much time to the contest as I have in the past.
