Usually returning home from a trip is a relief but im fuckin pissed and stressed right now. They're scrambling to find coverage and it just isnt my fuckin fault.

Such bs. I don't work a set schedule per se, it's more day to day, but had a boss that would throw a job at us at bs times. Like working a full day, 8 hours +, and he'd be like "oh we have to take care of this right now, I promised them you'd be there at noon (it's 4pm). And it would be a 4-5hr job. No likie

You gave them the notice, if it's not covered, it falls back on management. I'd kindly say, I apologize but, given my required amount of notice, if I can't physically be there to work I am also now unavailable to find my replacement. They're literally trying to push the responsibility on you because they forgot to do their job.. whooooops
