Music discovery is supposed to be hard.
• you’re supposed to hunt through vinyl crates to find great records.
• read music blogs until something hits.
• read the liner notes to find new artists.
• go to gigs and watch the opener you’ve never heard of.
That’s where the magic is. The reward of new music feels better when you work to find it.
