feeds are one leg of the stool. they can look out across the protocol. they have far better vision. and they are best when they are instrumented. the ability for Alice to dial in their feed is necessary. to build their own. because when Alice can build something useful it can be of use to Bob as well. and that is how we win. because we believe in composability. So when the /knicks are playing Alice knows exactly where go to lock in. Being a Knicks fan is like being in a club. and having a clubhouse is cool. a place where the dominant conversation is inviting. because it is predictable, and therefore approachable. it's a place one goes when they want to feel alive. It's the same for vintage clothing. the thrill of the hunt. the /firefits of it. the stories each piece helps write for the darling who wears the hat. these are human experiences. building this means -- for any group to conduct free assembly -- is the definition of a plausibly decentralized protocol like farcaster. a group which is willing to organize ought to have the basic capability to do so. so let the ecosystem experiment. when the basic needs are identified they can be added to the first party client. it's more important for warp to start running. when the channels primitive is committed to the protocol, then the community can teach /channels to walk. but every stool needs three legs. direct messaging and group messaging need a breakthrough. the ability for discrete exchanges of information and value. this primitive must make it to the protocol in order for @farcaster to win. because human psychology. but warp ought to uphold a standard. let us create a group from the first screen. let us swipe to archive. let as set a global retention policy. bring txs into the chat. multisigs inline. dream big. and render dates on messages. this is the path clients are cutting. scout by @murdo. @wyat and @bondes. /uno. @livecaster and @cura. experiences of the protocol tuned to the vibes of the sailors who are on it. those who have shown up and continue to do. if you aren't using these tools you ought to be. these are the lenses through which the magic of farcaster culture is being focused rn. the total conversational liquidity, harnessed to deliver the value of this place in whatever form is most useful to a babe. the subtlest of changes in interface can be quite refreshing, and beneficial to one's understanding of why the protocol must succeed. there will be many more clients to come. we look forward to the interface playground speed runs through the various idea mazes. and we look forward to placing some bets. 01-35-58-0400 long cast sent 🌺

Before I moved to Canada, I did a “donate or trash *insert today’s date* items” for a month. The first week was easy; that final week was a real stretch but it pushed me to finally clear out some real hoarding boxes.

My neighbor spends most of her weekdays sitting in the garden on her phone, occasionally walking to the nearby Starbucks before coming back for more calls. I’m desperate to know what she does for a living! Any guesses? Some clues: we live in an area of Toronto that’s mostly large detached houses, she recently had a pool installed, she’s in her 30s, there’s no obvious other people in the house.
