It matters when someone like @Nas says this publicly because a lot of us have been living it quietly for decades. I saw the gap early. Growing up in the Bronx, I had one of the few computers around. In my first tech jobs, almost no one looked like me. When I learned how venture capital actually works, it clicked. Founders from where I’m from rarely get funded and almost never get the chance to fund others. That’s not random. That’s structural.
