I create digital art with code by drawing 2D cubes that are mathematically offset, all following a single vanishing point. I call it algorithmic illustration because it's based on illustration: narrative, emotional, built from rules.
The process uses layering, overlapping, color, and scale to form a cinematic, living city, with animation elements to bring it to life. This is just a small part of it.
For this first series, each artwork's seed is taken from famous crypto events. After sorting, there are around 150 events, which will be the total number of artworks I'll create. For example:
January 3, 2009 ( 20090103 ) = Bitcoin Genesis Block
Satoshi Nakamoto mined the genesis block, embedding the message “Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks”, marking the beginning of the Bitcoin era.
The seed comes from the event's date.
