It's quite ironic that on April 4, 2025, the Trump administration decided to ditch the Biden-era plan for Medicare and Medicaid to include GLP-1 obesity treatments, such as Wegovy and Ozempic—especially when The Lancet forecasts that by 2050, more than 3.8 billion people will be affected.
