Dromos Labs, the developer of Aerodrome and Velodrome, has announced the merger of the two platforms into a single DEX called Aero. The launch is scheduled for Q2 2026. The new platform will operate not only on Base, but also expand to Ethereum and Circle’s Layer 1 Arc. A new native token, Aero, will be introduced. Holders of VELO and the current AERO will be able to migrate to it. After the launch, support for the existing Aerodrome and Velodrome protocols will end.
