This poem made me think of my friends in Iran who are fighting for their rights from a horrid regime. The poem reads....
"Let ruin end here
Let him find honey
Where there was once slaughter
Let him enter the lion's cage
& find a field of lilacs
Let this be the healing
& if not, let it be"
♥ my heart is with those fighting for their lives to regain their freedom
I will not become silent, not now, not ever
