Weβve been exploring one-click pay magic for crypto for a while. Allowing buyers to edit assumptions later could involve some risks but depends on settlement time and off-chain steps first, its possible to delay processing assuming the txn details can be safely updated post checkout within a timeout period
Some quick thoughts on this: - Using embedded wallets or AA accounts with a commerce module to pre-set payment preferences or enable checkout-aware logic (+ less interactions & gas sponsoring). - Cross-chain transactions to avoid network switching, token, etc Would love to discuss this more in depth!
I canβt stress enough the importance of proper access controls and social engineering awareness. Web3 companies must take these threats more seriously. I also personally disagree with hot wallets mechanisms in centralized payment systems due to the risks involved. Yet, human naivety can't be patched sometimes.
