Ojos y Espirales was born around 2003 as a signature for my visual and musical works. In 2005, friends from psychedelic adventures started calling me "Mort," and thus, Mort Espiral was born naturally: not just as a brand, but as my true identity. Over the years and with life's mutations, new crafts and creative dimensions emerged. Among them, "Conoce lo Fresco" was born, a screenprinting and original design workshop where I develop graphic projects alongside my wife. Guided by curiosity and a good taste for alcohol, "ÁUREA" took shape. In 2020, I began selling beer, vermouth, and liquors, after several years of experimentation. Since 2021, I've ventured into Web3, where I formed bonds with great artists and managed to generate income creating fractals and music. Blockchain technology finally allowed me to live from music after 20 years of trying. That fleeting economic stability gave me more time to create, collaborate, and dream. Alongside @keleven01 and @sandrob3 , we started @mycorama , a project that seeks to bridge musicians, illustrators, engineers, and designers to produce collaborative art pieces in a federal manner, exploring diverse funding ways to make them real. This year I plan to launch my second album, "Mort Invita", which will include many of these community productions. At the same time, I've returned to painting (creating paintings that also function as acoustic panels), I continue doing screenprints, drinks (with future plans to add gin and whiskey), food, design objects, and lamps. On this path, my desire is to better register and communicate this entire universe. That's why I thank Puppa for manifesting a new logo and image that captured the essence of this being contemplating their mortality. The growth and continuity of Ojos y Espirales has always been sustained in an self-managed way and in community. The idea remains the same: live from what we enjoy doing and reach, through art, as many people as possible around the world. Share, comment, and follow the mentioned profiles; we're all working very hard. Much love!
