Out there prediction: Coinbase will acquire The Browser Company (TBC lol)
Why it makes sense:
-part of CB vertical integration strategy (own the browser access point)
-TBC has 1M+ (mostly) tech-savvy users
-Dia’s agentic capabilities
-Solid team with proven track record of shipping and iterating
-Massive on/off ramp volume
-Makes for better browsing experience that doesn’t rely on ad revenue (rev is realized at app layer and CB fees)
-TBC unified interface for TBA and wider Base app eco
-TBA and TBC is funny
