Outside of the crypto bubble it doesn’t even seem like people even talk about it anymore except to make fun of it. There was a giant thing recently about Steam game store having to delist several games for content reasons because of fucking banks. I watched a hundred YouTube videos on it and not a single one even mentioned crypto as an alternative. After over ten years, I think we already lost tbh where people consider it too scummy to even mention.
