Appreciate the transparency here. Shipping new things always attracts mixed reactions, but experimenting in public is part of how products in this space actually evolve.
The trends concept sounds interesting if it ends up making discovery easier for creators rather than just adding another layer of speculation.
The 1bps trial also seems like a fair way to test the model without over-extracting early.
The bigger thing though is the reflection in this post. Owning the turbulence and explaining the thinking behind the decisions goes a long way.
