All social media is not inhereritently bad. To have less doom scrolling and quality of life improvements, I have deleted Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook on my phone. The only app social media I have had on my phone for last nine months is Farcaster. I can still get my checkout what's going on, but it's always more positively spirited and without depression that comes for opening Twitter/Facebook. If I really want to go to Twitter, I do it on my computer now and then.

Agreed! The vibes here are pure and positive. And most of all, we have a common goal of decentralisation and get rid of silent web-2 stalking.

This is a wise choice. We don’t need doom and negativity here. Even news can have a positive spin

I've been doing the same - very occasionally I miss something from other social media platforms that I wish I would have seen but overall it's not worth it
