There’s a bit of subculture bubbling where people intentionally exchange phone numbers instead of IGs that has similar vibe
I have what I call an unofficial newsletter where I just invite a bunch of people over text to something I’m doing. More intimate than a email newsletter or IG story since they know I meant to text them.
Partiful is kinda hacking that vibe with the text notifs although people know they’re part of a blast.
