Bitbucket? Gitlab? Half of the solution is there in that anybody who has the repo cloned could push it somewhere else.
I think people forget that git remains a decentralized technology. We just let one big provider dominate as a hosting solution.
Good reminder though that maybe we should start auto-cloning things to other locations...
