My first week on @base.base.eth summary:
- posting feels awkward but fun. I only ever used socials as an observer so this is new.
- I had a few pleasant interactions. Connecting with strangers is also new, but feels good and encouraged me to try and build more presence here
- I am exposed to content outside my usual bubble and that brought unexpected inspiration
- not being able to access farcaster with base handle and base randomly unfollowing people I follow frustrates me immensely. Especially the unfollow part!!!
- being beta shows - except the above mentioned, base sometimes doesn’t notify my about comments, or shows numbers that are not real
- I am confused by all the rewards, leaderboards etc. Many people here seem to be all about monetization but it feels very remote. I apparently am not even eligible for base rewards as I’ve spent a few days in excluded country
- posts in general (not mine unfortunately) seem to generate much more engagement than a week ago. Base seems to be growing fast!
