More EU sanctions on Russia by March 31?
The EU has already extended the existing sanctions against Russia, so the current restrictions remain in place. However, they were unable to agree on the new 20th package at the end of February, as the countries failed to reach a consensus. The problem is that adopting sanctions requires the unanimous consent of all 27 member states, and some countries are currently stalling the process.
