In the days after the US the price of bitcoin (BTC) fluctuated in an unusually narrow range around $68,000, but it fell to almost the week's low during Friday morning trading. Bitcoin was trading at $67,300 at 11:45 am ET, down 1% from the previous day and more than 2% from two hours before when it briefly hit $69,000.
