The Korowai tribe, also known as "Kolofo", consists of about 3,000 people who live in the southeast of Papua, New Guinea, Indonesia. The people of this tribe live in an area that has been less visited by humans throughout history, and for that reason, they did not know until 1970 that there were cities near them that were also inhabited by humans.
