What is the Web3 ?
Web3 is the next generation of the internet built on blockchain technology, shifting the focus from big companies to users.
In this web, data and application control are decentralized, meaning no single company owns everything and users truly own their information and digital assets.
This is in contrast to the current web (Web2), where platforms like Facebook or Google control your data.
Practical example: buying and selling digital artwork as NFTs (such as the OpenSea platform); the artist sells their work directly, the buyer has the real and unique ownership of it, and the transaction is completed without the need for intermediaries like galleries or banks.
