Google accidentally revealed the existence of an AI agent called Jarvis
As a result of a technical error, Google prematurely published information about its new artificial intelligence product codenamed Jarvis. This AI assistant is capable of autonomously controlling a user's computer to perform various tasks.
The prototype was briefly available in the Chrome extension store. The description characterized the product as “a useful companion for collaborative web surfing.” The assistant would presumably be able to make online purchases, book airline tickets, and perform other online tasks on behalf of the user.
It was not possible to test the prototype. Google promptly removed it from the extension store. The company is reportedly planning to officially unveil Jarvis in December along with the launch of its new flagship language model.
