How I Met the Love of My Life, Who Was My New Neighbor
The storm wasn't just a storm; it was a fury, rattling Leo's apartment windows, a relentless percussion. He was deep in a book, tea forgotten, when frantic knocking rattled his door. Peering out, he saw her: a woman, drenched, clutching a mangled umbrella.
"Clara," she gasped, "I've lost him! My dog, Miller, slipped out. Tiny, fluffy, pink collar with glittery fish!"
Leo blinked.
Miller, in this downpour? But Clara's distress was undeniable. "Come in, you're soaked!" he urged.
Before she could fully explain, a faint "Woof!" echoed from the stairwell. Clara’s eyes widened. "Miller! He's down there!" She bolted, and Leo, sighing, grabbed his umbrella and followed.
