Just saw this post from @kompreni for the first time last night. It's four days old which seems like ages ago. I'm still really excited about the [admittedly minimal] initial vision laid out in the $PRO launch post. The challenge I'm working on now is tying the token to true economic leverage. Governance without anything to govern is meaningless
Here's the tension with $PRO that nobody's talking about People (myself included) want upside in Farcaster's success. Merkle (rightfully so) controls the Farcaster app roadmap. Our only true leverage is the traction that $PRO (or any other lever) brings to the network. So, it's really up to us. Are we doing this?

I can't help but think of $DEGEN - there was a very real missed opportunity to integrate it more deeply into the app. BUT - we have embedded wallets and mini-apps now so we may not need anything deeper. Agree that economic leverage is a huge challenge / opportunity. Plz share more about it I wanna help!

Content staking - some thoughts - can possibly mean we stake our tokens for our favourite creators. It’s a bit like Patreon - creator get a good share of profits.

Time here moves at Warp Speed. The cognitive dissonance is real.
