i really do find the shock value of certain words and the presumptions that follow to be very interesting.
the words are usually to do with sex, drugs, and violence and humans act differently when these words are used, and most of us act differently in the same way.
why does every society reliably build this machinery? we load different ammunition into it, but the targets are similar.
