Master Roshi, also known as the Turtle Hermit, is one of the most important characters in the Dragon Ball series and the origlinal martial arts master of Goku and Krillin. He is an ancient martial artist who lives in seclusion on a small island and is the creator of the Kamehmeha technique. Despite his goofy, pervrted behavior, Roshi is incredibly wise and disciplined, representing the foundation of traditional martial arts in the series.
