The "Wrong Wallet" Blunder
What I did: Held assets in my hot wallet, interacted with the protocol from my hardware wallet. The breakdown:
Project rewarded based on interaction address, not holding address
I had NFTs in Wallet A (connected to OpenSea)
I used Wallet B for gas-heavy interactions (cheaper transactions)
The airdrop went to Wallet B, which held zero of the required assets = zero allocation
I never connected the two wallets as belonging to the same participant
Root cause: I fragmented my identity across wallets and assumed the system would magically unify them.
