well i'd originally bought the .eth address with a wallet that doesn't seem to connect.... so then i had to create a new wallet and transfer it... hard to figure out for sure which wallets would work, and coinbase vs coinbase wallet is confusing- i connected a coinbase address first thru my phone, had to install coinbase wallet as browser extension to get it to connect ... also i screwed up and got rid of the eth in the other wallet that i needed to pay the fee so then i had to swap more of the memecoin for sol and sol for eth again... and then once i got the coinbase wallet address connected it still said it wasn't the right address for my .eth so i had to do another transaction to fix the address attached to the .eth so it matched the new owner
