Today, my heart broke in real time.
I was lying on the bed, my dog — my ride or die, my emotional support queen, the literal light of my life — jumped up beside me.
Overcome with love, I looked into her eyes & sang to her . From the depths of my soul.
She stared.
Blank. Emotionless. Judging.
Then, without a sound… she stood up… and walked off the bed.
Not even a tail twitch. Just quiet disappointment.
Anyway, I’ll be processing this betrayal in therapy. 😂💔🐾
