Most recent raise $3bn, and polymarket has it at 50% odds to launch over $5bn. Monad’s brand is community, so an airdrop of 30% of the supply is more than reasonable. Launch at $4bn, airdrop 30% of the supply and 1.4% of this 30% is to the top 10,000 W stakers. Cost of being in top 10,000 is currently $863. Works out at an average of $1,680 per staker. Just hedge the directional risk on aster or hyperliquid or whatever exchange you want to farm. Funding rate on hyperliquid gives 11% annualised and staking W earns a 4% yield (comes from existing token supply and NOT from supply dilution). Cherry on top – you can stake your W tokens on Base, increasing your base footprint and again increasing your surface area for airdrop jackpot scenarios. Conclusion: Staking across a few wallets cooperates with a nicely balanced farming portfolio.
