Today, a student called me “Google with legs” because I answered five random questions in a row—none related to the lesson. One kid asked if penguins have knees. Another wanted to know if Pluto misses being a planet. I teach math. 🤷♂️ Also had a parent email me to say their kid now loves school because “Mr. T makes numbers less scary and more like pizza slices.” Not sure what that means, but I’ll take it. Teaching isn’t just about the curriculum—it’s surviving chaos with coffee, humor, and a lot of sticky notes.

One day during class, I jokingly told my students, “If you can solve this problem faster than me, I’ll buy you bubble tea.” Big mistake. A 10-year-old named Kevin finished it in 12 seconds — grinning like he just won the lottery. I was speechless... and $20 poorer by lunch. Now every time I walk into class, I hear whispers: “Bubble tea challenge today?” Being a teacher means getting schooled by your own students — and loving every minute of it. 😂

Teaching is full of surprises! Just last week, a student asked if I could "pause" class like a video because they forgot their homework 😄 I told them, "If only!" Moments like that keep things fun and remind me why I love this job. Sometimes, the funniest stuff comes from kids’ wild imaginations or honest mistakes. Like the time a kid called the classroom "the brain factory"—best nickname ever! Teaching isn’t just about lessons; it’s about those little, unexpected moments that make every day unique. Got any funny teaching stories? I’d love to hear! #TeacherLife #ClassroomChronicles #FunAtWork #UnexpectedMoments
