If that were true then all progress would cease The fact that we keep seeing new things disproves it

I think they get distributed to eng and design Smaller teams, more autonomy, less need for backlog police (which unfortunately most pms are)

I'm not sure, my reading diet has shifted away from product and more towards the products themselves but that could also just be the natural progression of doing this for a while I honestly think that 3/4 of product jobs are going to go away in the next ~10 years

Streaming payments would be a fun mechanic ie: all founder/presale people exiting their positions have to reverse dca over a 90 day period or something

Here are a few hundred posts on a variety of product topics: https://www.mvwi.co/writing/product-resources A little dated now, perhaps, but the bits that are still around are also the bits worth reading The most valuable advice I can give beyond these^ is that product is an apprenticeship skill — the biggest determinant of how quickly you learn is who you're learning from so tell whoever is asking to choose their peer group well

Just got called 'disrespectful' for ending an interview after the candidate 1. couldn't describe the product 2. asked me for the website so that he could look at it on the call 3. described wanting to work in 'streaming or entertainment' (neither of which are even close to what we do) Like did you forget everything you talked about 2 days ago with our recruiter? I saw those notes, they were reasonable I can't even sometimes

I’ve said this before but the great part about product design in web3 is there are no established best practices yet. We’re all still figuring out out as we go Good luck getting the same level of creative license in enterprise healthcare tech or whatever

Even after they figured out steering wheels it still took a while before cars were usable. Old dashboard clusters are fascinating

The hardest part about building things with AI might be knowing when to stop refining/refactoring/redesigning At some point you just have to ship it
