My journey with Base began in November 2023, when we first established our verifiable credential protocol on @Base, integrating onchain data sources. The goal? To use this credential system to verify and showcase users' onchain activities, achievements, and skills—turning them into reputation points and potential rewards. We also introduced our loyalty membership badge on Base. Last year, I had the opportunity to meet Jesse for a brief 15-minute chat in Berkeley. It left a lasting impression, as he asked insightful questions and offered valuable suggestions that truly inspired me. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting Statuette twice—first at BuildHer in Austin, before she joined Base, and later when she hosted a super warm Base event in Thailand. During this time, David, the social media dynamo, has been incredibly supportive, offering us constant encouragement and insights that have made a big difference. I was truly impressed by how capable every member of the Base team is.
