Ethereum Name Service will launch its L2 blockchain Namechain The blockchain will be on ZK-rollup technology. The launch is expected by the end of 2025. The decision to move ENS to L2 was made in May when the team unveiled a plan to upgrade the system, dubbed ENSv2. Namechain will retain compatibility with the current version of ENS (ENSv1) to provide a similar experience for users, but with reduced fees
